The worlds that these novels are set in can range from a time set in the past, such as the romantic medieval era; a faraway galaxy; or even a parallel universe that's not so different from our own.

Fantasy was my favorite genre at the time and, while I liked the adventure parts of the stories just fine, I often found the romantic subplots unfulfilling. So, I owe a lot to Jimmy who inspired me to start writing my own stories where I could combine adventure and fantasy and romance all together.
Paranormal romance and urban fantasy are my favorite genres to write in. The two genres are similar in many ways. The difference between the two being that paranormal romance focuses on romantic stakes, and urban fantasy focuses on external stakes (like preventing the end of the world).
